Hannah Simmons

As a sports therapist, I am able to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and joint injuries using an array of techniques such as soft tissue massage, joint mobilisations, dry cupping, IASTM tools, ultrasound treatment, as well as prehab and rehab exercises; prescribed exercises to help avoid injury or recover stronger post-injury. I do this in a friendly, reassuring way, aiming to put patients at ease in the treatment room.

Alongside sports therapy, I work as a personal trainer and CrossFit coach. I find this complements my role as a sports therapist very well, and my experience here enables me to provide great, progressive prehab and rehab programmes to patients when necessary. I have a lot of experience working with gym users such as crossfitters, weightlifters etc., as well as runners. I also have an interest in helping desk workers improve postural issues and chronic pain caused by their working environment, having studied this issue for my university dissertation.

I am always looking to expand my skill set and regularly complete additional CPD courses to enhance my understanding of the body, biomechanics, women’s health, and treatment modalities. I truly enjoy my job, whether working with an athlete to maintain their athletic performance and avoid injury or treating a patient suffering from a chronic or acute injury.

It’s my goal to help you move better, feel good and be stronger.
